Position: Magento Developer
Seeking a full-time, experienced Magento developer (someone with great PHP, Zend, Symphony experience). You will be responsible for helping us take our leading e-commerce business to the next level working closely with our experienced Tech Lead. In the role you will be helping us solve a range of tech challenges, some relatively simple and others revolutionising our industry.
You will be working as our sole in-house expert to develop and improve our eCommerce operations built around Magento and OpenERP. Ideally looking for candidates with atleast 1.5 years of full-time Magento experience.
Must have ability to work independently, conquer complex challenges and think innovatively.
Skills
· You should be very comfortable writing code in PHP.
· 3+ years of experience with object-oriented PHP design patterns.
· Experience in designing, implementing, developing and delivering advanced web applications.
· MySQL database development expertise.
· Working knowledge of front end technologies.
· Experience with Magento (specifically building custom extensions) or in PHP Frameworks e.g. Zend, Symfony and CodeIgniter.
· Familiarity with source control (Subversion/Git/Mercurial).
· Experience with front-end concepts such as JavaScript/jQuery, (X)HTML, HTML5, CSS2/3, Ajax, JSON.

· Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for websites.
· Writing web pages in a combination of codes, such as HTML, Javascript, Java, CSS and Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver.
· Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical. Recommend improvements if necessary.
· Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients.
· Deciding on how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web.
· Producing design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required.
· Produce daily Mailers, Banners, collateral material from A to Z in Arabic and English.
· Produce basic layout and manipulate images for the web.
· Website design services have to be creative, elegant and yet user-friendly and inline with the Brand character.
· Fixing problems encountered in the functioning of the website.
· Work on improving image presentations and other features on the website digitally.
· Optimize user Interface to maximize conversions.
· Develop with optimum visual sizes to ensure site speed.
· Use global best practices in design-searching and reapplying best practice in the E-Commerce arena.

4. Manage communications budgets.

URGENT HIRE: Female only
Primary Copy writer responsible for key writing tasks for a Baby and Child business. Must be well versed in kids products or at least interested in this category so can write creatively, accurately and convincingly.
· Manage all Aspects of the website Copywriting and communication. This includes but not limited to:
· Research and understanding of global and regional websites. Generate enough of a learning of the brand's objectives, communication strategy, vision, mission and core character, ensuring that all writing is consistent in delivering these elements.
· Create the site content and manage the user experience through the various copy touch points and keep it updated, fresh, relevant, exciting and unique.

· Create regular weekly static content for the website blog pages on Parenting and shopping topics. All content must be researched first and written with the brand character in mind.
